Hard counters, anyone?

Necro boon-strip aint doing kitten and I’ve been in a loss streak because I keep facing these combos and my team has nothing to counter – ever.

Cap first. They can’t win a ot

A druid + ele combo doesn’t have a lot of burst and mobility, so maybe you can tie them up in an unwinnable stalemate somewhere, while your roamers decap/cap other points.

Reapers are pretty good hard-counters, especially with even just 1 support.

Against Druids: Just put moderate pressure on them with scepter, and wait until they enter CA form. The moment they do — 1) if they have Signet of Renewal, lay down roughly half of your condi burst, followed by the other half after they pop it. They will mostly likely swap pets after this or it would die, so be watching for their pet’s counter-attack, too. 2) If they don’t have the Signet, burst them with everything you got. If they try to cast CA form 3 or 4, interrupt them with staff 5 or shroud 3 (or 5 during CA form 4 due to the cast time). If they are using CA form 5, then corrupt their stability for an easy CC. If they have SotP (elite shout) up, then you have boons to corrupt galore. Most run WHaO for their heal (shout), which has a telegraphed 1 second cast-time. If you can, try to save a CC for it.

Against Tempests: I have less experience with this, since I don’t play one, but I do know to interrupt their water overload at all costs. I will let other, more experienced Ele’s answer this is more depth than I.

Meta warrior is pretty good counter to both. As an avid Druid, I can tell you a well played warrior is the most difficult match up. Spam as much interrupts as you can on the Druid.

If they are farting around on mid together, push the sides, split them up, then pull out the skull crack. The Druid has better mobility than the Ele, so you can usually bait and split them up.

Druid is queen of 1v1 matchups. Warrior is king, and is more mobile than both Druid and Ele.

Whilst I agree that one v one is the true defining of skill since separating them or a constant map control required team effort, as you play solo you stand no chance other than play the counter composition which this crappy game good at.
