I thought you were not to face a full party now. We were duo queued with 3 solo’s and faced a full guild group in Ranked.

last 2 matches of mine were all solo queues vs 3 grouped players both matches.

and of course we lost.. second match had 2 pro league players in it too..

also you have to wait till end of match to see who is grouped.. I saw the same thing in your SS but at the end it was only 3 players grouped up.

queues are fast. matching could be better.

wish solo players had their own queues. this league is going to be groups of 3’s -4’s dominating solo players for wins.. gg

You can still face 5-man premades duo queuing. They didn’t disallow that possibility.

5 solo cannot vs 5-man premade. That’s all. Every other combination is possible.

A team name does not necessarily mean that it’s a full 5-man either. If I queue’d up with 2 other guild members, we can run the team name and it will show up.

Actually I just faced that group too, and the OP is right, it is a 5man.

@OP: Anet said in their upcoming pvp changes blog post that FIVE soloers wouldn’t face a 5-man premade. Technically they didn’t lie. People assumed this meant “if I solo queue I won’t face premades ever.” It’s still RNG because if you happen to solo queue and get a 2q or 3q on your team, it is very possible you’ll face a 5-man.

I don’t completely assume, i check to see if they are all in a party. Faced that guild group twice, they were all in party. So unless it was 3 in one 2 in another, plus I’m sure they all had same tag.
