The matchmaker should not allow duplicate classes. It creates very uneven matches and some combinations are almost guaranteed to lose just due to DPS and/or Tankiness imbalance. It would go a long way to balancing things if you couldn’t stack multiple Elementalists or Warriors or couldn’t get stuck with multiple Thieves or Guardians.

You can reroll mid game anyway, so imo its not a prioritary issue

It takes me longer to change characters than it does for the entire match prep. Unless they streamline the system it’s not a viable option. Or unless there is some fast change method for PVP that is hidden somewhere.

This isn’t a Moba or some Overwatch game where you can learn a class in 5 minutes. It could take months for a new player to actually master a class in GW2… then you have the counter productive Class Dailies where everyone is the said class for achievent sakes. Ridiculous.

This go-to excuse that’s constantly brought up by players like yourself may be the reason why devs haven’t fixed it.

And yet these players are the very players in Ranked solo queue crying about AFKers. Players who have no experience to offer their teammates any help instead, ending up becoming a detriment to the team. LOL
