ESL: camera man/host, pls stop moving around
I blame the game. Camera should work like it did in GW1. Also the contrast between player character, skill effects, and the environment need to be greater.

I must admit there r times when theres potentially great 1v1 2v2 where one would like to see specifcs making outcome, and for some reason they decide to swap cam spot, but its their show

This. And in game spectating of tournaments. This shouod be one of the HIGHEST priorities at anet if they want this game to be esports. It’s just so much easier to understand what’s going on when you can spectate whoever you want. All it would require is an in game audio stream for casters and a dynamically size increasing custom arena.

Ya I agree with basically everyone in this thread. Spectating in client is a MUST for real eSports. Additionally the camera crew for this game need to get much much better at figuring out where the good action is and sticking to it.
I feel like I am watching DOTA1 again with the horrible camera and awful sparkle light show for the skill effects.
If ANet wants this game to take off as an eSport they need to cut back on the particles by something like 95%. Do what DOTA2 did before Valve lost their mind with new flashy sparkles from their gemstore, have every skill basically look like colored poop with only a hint of an effect. Let the character model ACTUALLY SHOW for every skill used. Why does Burning cover your entire character in fire? Why the hell do Mesmer wells make it impossible to see anything? HOLY kitten TEMPEST OVERLOADS WHAT IS GOING ON!?!
