Pretty bad lag on EU right now again. Not just me but my teammates were lagging in every match as well :/

One of the players logged on alt account on NA and had no lag at all. It is just EU servers affected.

Fix EU servers plz T_T

P.S. tracert shows 22 ms btw

same here its not just PvP in the last few days there are horrible Lag spikes left and right.

Most pvp matches the last few days have been unplayable after 3-4 minutes in the game. I would lag and then get a disconnect. As a courtesy to teamates, I would re-log but end up disconnecting again. Not sure whose end the lag is originating from. I do cringe seeing losses stack up while collecting desertion points.

Here’s the weird thing: I have 2 accounts in NA and one have been more problematic than the other.

Yday had full dc in the match.
Both teams have disconnected.

That lose points crap upon dc is kinda……silly.

1. Well, in september patch devs claimed that they fixed so called immob bug but at the same time they also changed how servers handle latency so if you try to play characters relying on teleports (aka thieves) you will watch every single spell fail (i mean this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zB4LAIOajpI)… Which is frankly annoying and makes the class quite unplayable in pvp, at least vs good players.

2. Since ppl decided to go full srs bzns about tourneys lately, nobody wants to play with me on NA anymore because i play from EU so i moved over here—-
Where after initial struggle i made few friends thanks to Jebro (most excited shoutcatser EU) and quite enjoying it here now… Also trying to get a team together but we really need a good mesmer~

Side note: pugs on EU play like pugs on NA from 1 year ago… idk why pugs are so behind in meta, top players are really good though. Wouldn’t say that NA or EU is better though, i think both regions have their share of bad and good players.

My european pride was hurt by this comment and I wanted to reply something mean, then I logged in and saw my scepter ele, my rabid engineer, my sword/torch mesmer and my spirit ranger, and I cried a little…

EU doesn’t have SWAT Team as a hidden Elite Skill.

haha we had lag spike of 15 sec in AC. We downed boss hp to 15% and buum after 15 sec we died haha and it was like 5x times until server was normalized.

EU servers are not bad, as i said there is equal amount of bad and good players there as on NA… it is average pugs on EU tend to run older builds (cough turrets engis) for some reason where NA pugs stopped doing it long ago… has literary nothing to do with skill level though

aaand the lag is back again, tracert says 24 ms to the map server, speed test to Frankfurt 50MB/s

but lagging hard in HotM, also many ppl are complaining in map chat right about same issue

Both today and yesterday I’ve had horrible lag from about 7pm onwards (GMT). It would be perfectly fine beforehand, then I’d go have dinner and come back to find myself with heavy rubber-banding and up to 5s delay on skills (varies).

I even tried to play PvE for a bit, but I couldn’t even tag the Fire Elemental world boss depsite being there before it spawned, since I was frozen the whole time it was up…

It’s definitely not my internet, online speedcheckers can confirm that. Tracert gives me 13 request timed out messages at the end of the trace.

Also having this issue (I’m the person Irrwi is talking about who tried NA). There’s a really noticeable difference.

Lagged and disconnected 2 games in a row not long ago

Im guessing there is a huge difference when one plays in NA during EU peak hours.

However, it’s not peak in NA right now but the lag is terrible. I wonder why.
