The NPC’s in the Mists hit like trucks now. I have literally not changed a single thing in my PvP build since pre patch and I find the NPC’s are demolishing me. The thief’s unload will actually down me in one channel if not almost. I say this because If I evade most of the shots, she’ll just do another unload which will guaranteed bring me down (half of the shots from one, half from the other, I can assume a full unload chain will down me, and considering how fast the projectiles are…) The guardian hit me with a Binding Blade for 5k once, the necromancers just rips your health away from you when he gets downed as does the warrior, but the necro moreso. But dear almighty the worst of all of them is the engineer, getting pelted with shots that do half my total hp in damage, and to top if off, blunderbuss.
Idk if something changed or not but my toughness is 2k and I feel like I’m fighting with like 100 hp against these guys when I had no problems before testing out a little build to get the grasp of it before going into actual matches.
Best thing: hit the engineer 1 time and stand still xD he will 1shot u, think someone buffed them a little bit haha, also i love how they finish u if you both are in downstate ^^
But i like this change, you can test more things with it.

Good change, they were punching bags back then. They are more of a threat now (kinda). I still destroy them, but that must be ’couse I was hitting them with a condi war. The only problem is their downed state, you take a lot of damage during the impale animation.

Make him pick Ricochet and he’ll wipe mid fights easily

I agree they weren’t bad before but now they pressure you hard if your trying a new build :p
Their defense is nuts too. I managed to survive against the Guardian for like ~20 seconds by dodging and stealthing around, but my attacks were just tickling him. He never went below half health, then a lucky leap attack wasted me instantly.
Even the Mesmer took like 5 Backstabs from me before going down.
