Ele S/D roamer Tips and Tricks anyone?

I wouldnt consider myself an amazing ele, only got a lil over 200h /age, but I have some knowledge about the role of an ele. Still, I might be terribly wrong and if someone with more experience than me replies after me, listen to them instead
For now tho, I just wanted you to have a reply.
I am a lil bit hipster, but I like to stay to the meta. Right now I think 0 20 0 20 30 is a good way to go in terms of traits, where the most important trait is the dodge on Arcana GM. It decreases the recharge time of attunement swap and gives you that nice boost to your dodges.
For utility skills I like to do a lil hybrid mix. I have Lightning Flash, Arcane Wave and Signet of Air. The teleport is always handy to have. I usually use it for mobility in terms of chasing/disengaging or when using the 5 earth skill and to teleport into enemies just in the last second. Arcane Wave helps for might stacking in fire (2, 4, 3 in fire + Arcane Wave gives you a great deal of might). The Signet of Air recently recieved a buff with the stun break, and is therefore not only used for passive run speed and active blind. A nice utility to have slotted if you want to run around.
If you’re gonna bunker I think it’s better to go 0 0 0 30 30 and place 10 in either Air or Earth. I havent bunkered in a while and Im not sure if the big change not too long ago changed the water traits for cantrips. If they didnt you can trait so every cantrip remove conditions and apply regen, which is nice for bunkering.
Eles are quite squishy, especially if you want to roam around, because you should have traited for some decent damage. For your burst it’s usually a good idea to have your target standing still or still-ish, so fighting while they’re in between points might not be such a good idea for your burst’s sake (thinking of fire 2 skill for might stacking). You could still pretty much attack anywhere you want, just keep in mind that if it turns out to be a 1v2 you should have a way to disengage or to call buddies of your own. I like to run between points and mostly just help in team fights on points. This way I dont die so often and my team gets more out of my damage.
I have some builds up on my Twitch channel, but they might be a lil out of date. At least you have a place to start.
Good luck
Edit
Yeah, the builds on my channel is very out of date. Stick to what I just wrote and Ill update the builds later today
Zoose has some very good advice on how to play ele S/D in pvp.

You can also get some good info by watching Phantaram on twitch (if he is on his ele rather than his necro).

Thank you for the input, everyone. I am definitely not jumping on the necrotrain. Anything under 20 different available skills bores me tbh. I thought about Engi though, but this I would like to be able to say “They changed the meta but I did not jump on the FotM train like some famous Eles did”.
Although as seen yesterday, an Engi and a Guardian can carry a whole team if played tremendously well.
Yesterday Mogwow (in my eyes one of the best players in this game) showed, that Ele is still viable with situational awareness. What he did to Xephs S/D thief was really enjoyable to watch, as this one amongst terrornecro are my hardest opponents in my current jouneys to tPvP.

Well yesterdays matches showed to me that cc would have more chances if they were rolling with spiritranger :P
Mogwow was so easily shutdown and his “1shot combo” they tried so many times from stealthed was countered pretty easily..
Id say your best chance is bombs engi ! As many skills, only more tools ,more room for mistakes in mid and lower tier of play through higher health pool, strong healing and self rezz and also decent ranged damage through burning..High skill cap but i really doubt its that hard to pick up :P
Getting punished for not having one certain build in your team says quite a lot about balance
