I must be blind cause I’ve never notice this bug that has been around for a month apparently or even longer.

I’ve tested this using different rune sets and apparently vamp runes is the culprit cause you can now RESET YOUR DOWN STATE HP TO 80% WITH MISTFORM…

Hoelbrak is better than str runes imo. Flame legion are also good too.

The use of vamp runes on Elementalists in the AG tournaments will be banned until further notice due to this bug.

I hope this is an intended feature.

I always thought that if there were some kind of banning system in GW2 it will make the balance much better..

Still haven’t gotten a red post acknowledging this bug, probably need to post it on the bug forums/ attach a short test clip demonstrating it (not a big fan of twitch vods myself).

I guess things need to get worse before it gets better.

They fixed the vampire rune bug on engie and necro but I’ve always wondered why the ele got away with it.

I feel like there’s an ele conspiracy against all classes by making themselves immune to bug fixes and get buffs every patch.

Now that this is out in the open, I really do hope people abuse it so it finally gets attention.

just the d/d ones that use celestial are underpowered. they deserve a second chance at fighting after they are effortlessly downed and that’s what the vampire runes help deliver.

Let’s put it this way.
We have 2 downed classes.
Ele vs Guardian – of course guardian will win and rally faster.
Ele vs Warrior – of course Warrior will rally faster and stomp ele.
Ele vs Ranger – of course Ranger will rally faster.
Ele vs Necromancer – of course Necromancer will kill ele and rally.
Ele vs Mesmer – of course Mesmer will spike ele down and rally.
Ele vs Thief – of course thief will kill ele in downed state and rally.
Ele vs Engi – of course engi will kill ele, because attacks faster and inflict conditions.
Ele vs Ele – balanced.

So, as you can see, Ele is underpowered and need to be boosted to match competitive and balanced arena such as eSport.

P.S – anet make Evasive Arcana baseline.

Not sure if you guys are just being facetious or sincere about eles being underpowered. There really are ppl on here that think eles are underpowered, myself included.

Instead of Evasive Arcana, I think Blinding Ashes should be baseline so we can use Pyromancers Puissance

Vampire runes not a bug on ele. It is working as intended.

I played vamp rune celeDDele today to handicap myself with this under-powered class, and got called out for it.
