I think the boons on elites should be spread out during there durations. This makes them unique in the fact they are harder to simply remove or steal. These buffs can’t be spammed like others and are elite, therefore I think they should have a little protection against removal, however not full protection.
For example:
Signet of Rage
Active: Gain fury, might, and swiftness.
5 Might: 30 s
Fury: 30 s
Swiftness: 30 s
Instead
Active: Gain fury, might, and swiftness every 3 seconds for 30 seconds.
5 Might: 3 s
Fury: 3 s
Swiftness: 3 s
(Active buff icon: Signet of Rage, lasts 30 s)
This allows the elite skills that give boons to be unique, this includes transformations which give 1 stability every second instead of 30 seconds of stability, this means it can’t really be ripped or stolen, transformation skills should have perma stability.
This should also be done to Rampage as One.
Elite Transformation spells should give 1s of stability every second for as long as it is.

I think you are missing the point of sPvP.
I primarily play my thief as double S/D (you know, the kind that loves it when a warrior pops Signet of rage), and I agree with Daecello.
Elite skills should feel Elite.
That being said, I think his suggestion specifically goes too far to the other side – now instead of having Elite’s easily countered by boon removal/stealing, it’s almost completely uncounterable.
I think a better approach would be something in the middle – Gain 10s of 5xMight, Fury and Swiftness every 6s for 18s (or something like that). That way counters aren’t completely useless (6s can be a looooong time), and the player isn’t completely shafted if an S/D thief tags them with LS right after they pop their Elite or some other boon removal happens.
Countering elites is part of the game. A Mesmer can Moa Morph a Necro out of Lich/Plague form. Plague Form helps to counter Timewarp, An AOE condition cleanse will get people out of tangling roots etc.

For the most part, you just named Elites countering other Elites.
Yes signet of rage is easily countered and it sucks when you realize that a thief is s/d right after you pop it. But on the other hand, signet of rage has an extremely short cooldown and high uptime compared to most other elite skills.
Nope: There’s no Problem that those Skills can be countered in some way. If the Elite or the class is too weak, or the ability to get rid of the boons too strong, balance them in some other way.
Having the ability to remove those boons is an interesting factor in the Game and forces the player that uses them, but also the other team, to make certain decisions and keep up with CD’s and stuff like that.

Having said that, I REALLY dislike ‘boon giving elites’. It is quite boring and requires little timing or skill to use. In this month’s streamed tournies, the caster would immediately identify Time Warp or Moa Morph, and comment on how the balance has suddenly shifted. Having said that, those mesmer elites are a great example of what elites should be- very dynamic, and if co-ordinated well- twice as effective.

Have you ever fought a warrior after he lost SoR’s buffs, honestly?
They are absolute garbage, easiest things to kite in the game, I love destroying there boons on my necro because then I can say “lol warrior.” and proceed to just kite them.
I play an 80 warrior/thief/necro, however I no longer pvp as a warrior, its not worth it and i’m not a masochist.
You’re quite right my friend, an elite shouldn’t be so easily countered (except perhaps by another elite). Hence why the simple boon-giving elites are even so more meh. Constant re-application isn’t a bad idea.

Instead of being granted 30 stability, it grants 1 second of stability every second so you are properly immune to CC, Transformations should be like this.

how about elite skills should feel good, and each class should have real choices about which to bring into pvp. have reasonable cool downs and such.
then getting countered isnt a big deal, cause it wasnt your i win button anyways.
