Were you 1 vs 1 on a bunker all game on their point or something? Zerker Warrior damage is super easy to ignore since it all comes from easy to avoid sources, especially on Foefire where you can kite the axe auto attack better. Shouldn’t be 1 vs 1 on a capped point either way. Also damage is only being nerfed in PvE and WvW.

not 1v1 of course i wont 1v1 a bunker, it was just everybody at mid and nobody died.

If no one is dying in team fights its a 5 vs 5 of bad bunkers or bad players not focusing a target.

When you truly learn how to PvP and the dynamics of it you’ll learn 2 things. A guardian w/ 2-4 guys around him that’s bunker is truly one of the hardest things to kill in PvP. And a solo bunker warrior regen is the second.

So I ask:
1.Was it a guardian
—If yes was he using staff?
——If Yes again he was probably a pure bunk cleric guardian w/ Altruistic healing and everything like it which in a group fight, you almost cant win. Because he gains like 400 health per kitten near every skill he uses.
2.Was it a warrior?
—If yes was he using a Hammer/Mace Shield and a Banner
——If yes he was a bunker banner build, these guys have something like 700-800 healing per second so if your damage is anything less than that, then you’re screwed.
3. Was it a combination of those 2?
—If yes then don’t even stand on that point, it’s pointless (heh get it?). But you’re talking about a guard who gives about 400 health a second on average w/ all heals, maybe more I didnt do any math. And a warrior w/ 700 health a second, i mean. 1.1k healing a second is GG.

If this was in hotjoins you probably should have left there, went to their home, and won that seperating the bunkers giving you a chance to win one or the other.

Another thing- Thieves do amazing 1v1 damage and even 1v2, but they are not the solution to everytime you need DPS. In Hotjoins, Zerker staff ele/well necro are AOE DPS that is very effective and if ti was a 6v6 in this hotjoin you coulda melted everyone there.

But to nerf a bunker? No, there’s a build to counter everything.

Either way, he is right. The bunkers are becoming just as stale as the condi spam.

1v1, 1v2, 1v3. Doesnt make a difference.

I’ve been on treb nuking mid and the bunkers don’t dodge and don’t move. They eat the damage + damage from my team in mid and surive. Me (the ele) die in two treb shots if I have 100% hp on the first hit and will have a few hundred HP to try and recover.

At this point, who cares. 50% sale this week on GW2. I smell smoke. PvErs without content and PvPers stuck with crap WvW or even worse sPvP. Another MMO burning to the ground.

But good news guys, sPvP will bring lambs to the wolves when PvE’ers must PvP to get exclusive items. Only causing more excessive kittening on these forums. When they are forced to deal with the meta as it “settles” or more realistically stagnates.

ive never seen a top tier team pvp game where even teh best bunker held 1v2 for more than a minute.
