Energy Sigil nerf to Vigor
Please don’t. Energy sigil giving a chunk of endurance is really bad design and can actually reward someone for panicking and wasting all of their dodges. I would rather it were removed than returned to giving instant endurance.

I mean, sigils are there in order to give smth to the user, not to be completely useless
It was certainly unbalanced compared to vigor.
50 endurance instantly is basically 20s of intenity stacking vigor + 20s of time travel on demand and then every 20s
which is better than having perma vigor. (depends on the way you look at it tbh, Vigor since nerf became pretty insignificant.)
The easiest fix for vigor would be imo, to let it stack up to 2 stacks so you could get +100% endurance regen if you double-apply it.

Vigor nerf should be reverted and access to vigor should be made more limited. This basically goes for every boons, CCs and condis. Since HoT released, all three of these are so abundant that people can’t decide which one to spam earlier.

This. There are so many useless boons, so they just give them out like candy. Regeneration in itself is useless, so everyone has perma-access to it. Same goes for quite some other stuff.
We need WAY less boon and condition spam, those things should be tactical again.

While I understand where you’re coming from here, I don’t agree entirely. The energy sigil, as it was, was tactically useful for classes such as mesmer and thief, to create extra clones for example and to (now with daredevil) maximise dps if using boundful dodger and so on. Thieves can obviously take the signet that restores endurance, but that takes away a skill slot for something people may find more useful.
As a champion illusionist, it did hit me fairly hard as I would, as you rightly say, consume my dodges skillfully (hopefully) but also utilize the trait deceptive evasion. Now, it really is pretty much useless to that cause. I am not afraid of changing my build however, but I don’t really know what to take in replacement other than Blood for extra sustain or fire for full on dps?
I am simply interested in knowing what others have replaced the energy sigil with and if anyone still uses it?

Celine…I dropped that sigil like a ton o’ bricks and opted for life-stealing/damage sigils. Thanks, Anet, for making energy sigils worthless. Just another classic example of how Anet either buffs something really hard or nerfs it to hell….they have absolutely no in-between setting.
