so you cant get extra vitality from alchemy anymore and you run around with 15900hp if you are rabid. this is kinda aids with all the dmg that is going in the game after patch. you can get oneshoted with 1900 toughness after patch. as engi you need precision in condi build so you cant run carrion. rampagers is an option but it is not a big difference. anet pls.

At least you have toughness shatter mesmer says hi!

shatter mesmer is one of the things that can oneshot you even with 1900 toughness.
after the preview of the patch everyone was saying that engis are broken but you will see that engi will be out of the meta soon. or at least not viable at high lvl of play.

with marauder(old berserker) you have 17245hp on ele. and yes you have less toughness but you are in a burst build. i think noone will run rabid on ele.
what happened after patch is celestial builds remain strong and anything condi based become weaker in terms of sustain.

Lol I have Knights Ammy on as engi and Shatter Mesmer kills you through CC combo. They are utterly and totally broken right now.

The fact ele has to use an amulet with vitality still remains. Engi can take Marauder, too.
