Engineer-Automated Response-Bugged?
I have also noticed seeing the “immune” message while fighting other engineers recently. My theory is that the message pops up whenever the 15-point alchemy trait “transmute” procs. I believe it will also appear when attempting to blind an engineer with utility goggles, but very few engineers use goggles.
So there’s no change or bug, but the game now seems to inform you when one of your conditions fails vs. an engineer (8% chance).
yea, I figured that’s what it was too nevirsaydie. It helps a bit I guess, but I think it gives the wrong impression. It was probably just the best available scrolling combat text thingy they had.
@$20 an hour! It’s worth it!
there can be something like this ,u are immune to only 1 stack of condis ,so if u use static shot that gives 2 stacks in one shot it clears only one……but don,t know
as i know that trait works only with condis that u get under 25% hp ,condis that u got above 25% hp still work, even when u are under 25%

I think this is why i usually see the immune status on engy thx for the fast response
The trait also negates all damage from condition-inflicting sklills, so it’s in essence another mini form vs pure condi builds.
Actually karla, in practice the trait is nearly worthless. When you reach 25% HP none of the conditions get removed that are already applied. If you get that low you more than likely already are getting screwed over pretty hard.
In a “standard” build up alchemy you’ll usually have 18k HP. That’s 4.5k HP worth of immunities. The problem then is how conditions actually work. They get far more effective the more you have, so having the trait activate at such low HP usually means that either you forcibly bring yourself down to below 4.5k HP and cleanse them all off, leaving yourself open to a quick death via physical damage, or you just die because the condis already applied tick you down.
Sorry for the sloppy writing. Just trying to explain that it’s not nearly as good as it sounds.

Taking down_4.5k hp (why did that get filtered..?) with DS 4 and 1 is a pain when you’re running a condimancer (read: not gonna happen).
