Why the nerf on kit refinement engineer?

We are talking about it on the engineer forum, but I wanted to ask the tPvP communty.

Some precision : This nerf doesn’t really affect 100nade that much. You can still jump/switchkit without proccing the cooldown. We only lose the toolkit proc, which is annoying but we now have a free grenade barrage each 10 seconde.

What they nerfed tho, was any other build that used Kit refinement as a base. Support build that used EG and FT, Multikit Conditions build ect

Did anyone really had issue with those build? And why engineer, other then Elem, got nerfed? Nobody else really got nerfed?

I’m posting, not to cry about it, I’m already doing it on the engineer forum. But to see what others from sPvP think about it.

I thought everything else was buffed other then kit refinement though ?…

Good that they nerfed Engineer – it was time to do so, all Engi builds are waaaay to strong. And really – in hotjoin you just entered and got instagibbed by 5 100nades Engis.

TBH: Anet just delete the Enigneer already – I don’t feel like you want them to be in the game.

Engineers have deeper problems than this.

one of the biggest issues with engies, and im suprised nobody brough it up, is our second trait line, with precison and condition damage.

It has power abilities, which is appropriate to precision, but why then is its off effect condition damage. Since crits dont help conditions.

The first master trait in the necro tree makes this vaible as they get bleeds on crits.
The engineer version is just 30% chance to cause bleeding on crit? Isn’t the necro equivelant 100% chance to do the same thing? Anyways if they buffed that to 50% chance to cause bleed on crit, that would be something. Easy adjustment here devs, that would make a difference.

Yeah we have some build on other kit.

But why did we deserve that nerf?

Engineer got an history of having buff showed with a core nerf at the end.
