yup…im trying to win an solo join at a team arena for long long time after event started….but why?
there’s a special reason….i find to many lvl 2-4s testing chars on those rankeds or arenas during this event and not during the event too!

Each CHARRECTER should have its PVP rank! Like: Necromancer 25 lvl, Mesmer, 16 lvl pvp, bla bla!

Not someone who is lvl 80 in WARRIOR and goes test a elementalist to a PVP area of team arenas just because he can! in my opinion, team arena should be allowed to lvl 30+ PVPs

what? Simple
In order to avoid players who gona test chars in TEAM ARENAS, each charecter should have it’s owne PVP Rank, instead an Account rank, would fixe the probleme

Unfortunately, most of us do not have as much time as you seem to do OP. Therefore it would be impossibly difficult for us to even play if we were to follow your idea.

Personally, i am full time employed and work 7am to 3-4 pm every weekday, with some work during weekends depending on workload. Simply put, my time is limited, like many others. Therefore i would never be able to get past level 10 with more then 1-2 characters. Meaning i get shoehorned into playing either warrior/ele and ranger.

Sorry I actually feel its necessary to test builds and practice profs in ranked matches at times(not always). It hard to determine a build viability in hotjoin do to players lack of skill.

For anyone who wants to play well with a team – make one.

Otherwise I don’t care what mode – be it soloq, teamq or hotjoin – it’s all casual to me.

If they wanted teamq to be “proper” they wouldn’t allow solo players to join – the fact that they do means who cares – unless you’re desperately hung up over leaderboards and rank, which personally I don’t care about.

team arena = no skyhammer… best option to Q all around even solo.

I do agree somewhere that Team Arena should be available only starting at a certain PvP level.
Same for Solo Arena but lower level requirement than Team Arena, ofcourse.

Going duo or trioq is pretty fun…you can win way more going with 2-3 on ts instead of alone or 4 (If you go 4+1 you’re probably gonna get premades) but sometimes you get some ppl that are totally uncarriable….

Problem is that we have no “not ranked” tque for new players or ppl testing stuff, you can’t really test a side point defender in hj cause they’re just gonna zerg you with 3+ all time, let alone trying to roam…and soloq well..skyhammer…

Team arena gives out best rank xp and reward track progression. Huge incentive for people to pick that over anything else.

Account bound pvp rank is a good thing. First of all, I know all hard core players think that reaching rank 80 is easy, but it’s actually not if you’re a casual player. I like the fact that my pvp rank rises with every profession I play, it means I’m not forced to play only THE build I’m the best with, but actually get to try new things. Don’t fool yourself : high rank players are better in tpvp with a new class than low rank ones with their main. Evades timing, positioning, map awareness are transferable skills. You were in a bad team ? It happens, find a full premade to avoid any surprise.
