I whisper them congratulations on cheating a broken system. As a solo Q’r your diamonds mean you grouped and took advantage of a flawed mechanic. I know many of you are good and fun to play with as I’ve been here fo eva but I solo and Anet kitten on my kind.

It is certainly possible to reach diamond without abusing the system. Stop being mad at people for being better or more lucky than you.

How do i know? Since i played (solo) vs most of them:

reached legendary 2 weeks ago – soloq/duoq only and till that I didn’t que with anyone who was in a lower division. My duoq partner and me reached legendary exactly at the same time. It’s doable if you have an accurate winrate.
So pls stop spreading the information it wouldn’t be possible without “exploiting”

I don’t believe any of you. Also never mention Duo Q as equivalent to Solo Q.

I got matched consistently or at least with a 80% against argi and other pro league players – so no “carried by amber teammates” or other “cheating”

As you can see on the screenshots in my earlier post there are quite a few queueing solo or queueing duo with similar div/MMRed players.

i did Diamond solo only playing necromancer but probably never get legendary as the matchmaking system puts me with pugs that just leave me get zerged 1v3 1v2 for as long as the match lasts. they also can’t kill anyone most of the time. i go defend close none come to help or they are slow as hell. enemy team +1-2 me then after 1-2mins one of my teammates decides to finally go there and die alone after the end of the match some random ele that always fight outside of points call me useless

That match got me to diamond. Solo and as thief.

Well that druid decided to camp his home, since i backcapped it all game before that and killed the DH a few times. He basicly made it 5v4 for us the rest of the game.

While score isnt a deciding factor in all situations, if my score comes from backcaps and quality kills (incl some 1v1s) that allowed me to keep far for a while….It is an indication off the impact i had pressuring their close. I basicly kept their druid out of the game after i left far.

You should be mad at Anet for implementing one of the most kittened league systems in recent history. You can “abuse” the systems with two clicks, don’t be mad at the players for eating the free food given to them.

Well, if everyone soloed I would be diamond already, but sometimes I battle pre-mades, and 2 pips lost… it’s like this to me, when every one solo I win 80% have 21 pips, then come some pre-made, 3 pips again, then again solo enemy team again 18 pips, it’s like this…

Be honest, youre just jealous. You know there are plenty of legit players at diamond. All you need is a win % that is above 50%. Thats all.

Also, as said before on this post, Leeto is the twitch evidence (seems you cant believe ppl saying they got to diamond without exploits) that you can get to diamond without cheating

I reached diamond yday as solo, stop being so soar lol. All it mainly takes s being good at map awareness and decision taking. I wont attempt legendary tho as im done with the grind, time to finish off some of the other class specific achis.

If I doubt skill, what are you going to do to prove that you don’t lack it?

I reached Diamond without much of a problem playing solo casually in the evenings with Necro or Revenant. If I have more time, I will reach Legendary soon.

Maybe the problem lies within you, OP.

I just had a match with an enemy team that had 2 diamond team players that teamed up with low rank players,

2 diamonds and most likely the ‘low rank’ players are diamond skilled players too from the way they were playing.

so thats me done with rank pvp for good.

I wonderd why the queue was so long from the last time i raged quit(three team mates ran to our treb at start of match instead of trying to get mid) like a week ago from rank pvp and now i see why, cause people have had enough of this mess.

It has turned into a right kitten fest, ranks mean nothing now, you can be a new player and be put up againts a legendary.

Oh I stopped trying weeks ago it’s not happening. Could I have? Who knows. I went Thursday to Thursday without gaining a single pip (win 2 lose 2 mmr nonsense). That’s all I’ll do in league until they split solo from group.

I hit Ruby by myself, only queueing occasionally with someone else. Another friend hit Diamond with solo queue only, except those few times he tagged along with me. Neither of us tanked MMR or anything like that. Sorry you aren’t good enough to rise in the ranks, but don’t assume everyone else isn’t.

Edit: I’m not sure how or why this happened to me. But the majority of my wins were +1 or +2, with the occasional +3. My losses were almost ALWAYS -1 or -0, I think only a -2 once. I even had a Loss give me a +2 about a week ago.

Up untill higher % diamond/ legend teams have a real impact. Untill then its just you and your excuses.

Maybe you just dont belong up there. Maybe youre not good enough to get past ruby?

I’m legit only a few pips from diamond on my warrior purely through solo queue so I mean if I can do it on my warrior then I have no doubt someone who knows a meta class can too.

Exactly… thus you should be able to reach the point easily even without cheating your way through
But yeah… bashing on people because they reached high-tier of league division (I, by no way, imply any form of skill by saying high-tier, just to be sure) is FoTM apparently
What’s your next say? Playing Meta is also a mean of cheating the system and abusing “poor pitiful players who got any kind of moral standard” and can’t find in themselves the way to be efficient?
That’s right, Anet made so that abusing the system was the most efficient way to get through it, and I can say it high and loud that I have no shame in doing it
Bash all you want, in the end, you’re the only one who gets penalized by any kind of moral standard you could have in a game.
It’s also easy to accuse players who deserve proper respect because they managed to get to those tier through their skills alone… Highly disrespectful, but it’s kinda because of people like me, who doesn’t have diamond-like skills and can still manage my way in.
Yeah I said it… I don’t have Diamond-like skills and I’ll cheat my way through by using what’s at my disposal to do it as swiftly and efficiently as possible… Anet gave me tools, I’m using them.

and RNG to not get faced againts a full premade
and RNG that your acc don’t get bugged in a forgotten match and cant play ranked for days

The last 15/20ish games before diamond i played thief

I got to Diamond solo/duo queue in 3 days after a 2 weeks vacation. It’s definitely possible. The other friend who I queued with got to Legendary (he played a lot more, and better too). Also, most of the Diamond+ players I have met are pretty good. I think it’s not good to just blanketly say they grouped or abused the game.
