YES, THIS is what I’m talking about! I’m loving the new league system, solo q, the skill rating, leaderboard, division, scoring change, leaderboard decay after inactivity, all of it! You actually get rewarded for your skill now. ANet, way to go.
I hated the previous system. I’m glad it was reconsidered.
That being said, as a solo queuer I’m happy that solo q is back, although I’m sad for people who want to form teams. They shouldn’t have been left out in the cold. For season 6, I suggest to bring back a separate team q along-side solo-q again.
Another thing, to everyone struggling with placement matches, keep at it. Placement matches are just that, placement. They don’t really matter as much. Think of them like an aptitude test, or pre-season. As someone who’s played since season 1 and seen it all, give this thing a chance. It’s a fair system.
