In my mind considering how balance changes have happened since launch i imagine the balance team playing a different game than us and at the meetings they go “Hey lets open up gw2skill.net or intothemists.com and see what we can do now”.

I refuse to believe that a team made up for balance can be so ridiculously blind and ignorant about the state of the game while also playing the same game as us, especially if they got any prior experience with multi player games.
Only thing that would make changes like dhumbfire and healing signet/cleansing ire make sense if you hired a bunch of guys on the street and slapped the gw2 manual in their face.

Now a more calm request, START MAKING VIDEOS EXPLAINING THE REASONING BEHIND BIG CHANGES LIKE DHUMBFIRE ETC, or at a writen text about why you add/change things like you have done so they might make some sort of sense to us.
PLEASE.

I can understand slow content development for pvp with a understaffed team

I can understand problems with the higher ups and transparency not being your strong side.

I can understand lack of focus pvp gets since it doesn’t generate any real money for you(your own fault though).

I cannot understand the way the balance team thinks

I cannot understand the process that went through your head when you said you are going to remove glory and not compensate us for our boosters, stored up crafting materials since the pvp crafting sucks orbs.

I cannot understand why you ask for feedback(both from the core testers or whatever it was called) and then completely decide to ignore it or do the complete opposite of what the feedback says. Or even worse claim you don’t get enough feedback, you have gotten plenty of quality feedback and suggestions and it seems like it have completely been ignored.

I cannot understand why you don’t have any deadlines what so ever either, you are not valve and working on half life 3, you are working on a themepark mmorpg which requires a steady stream of balance and content for both PVE and PvP.

I cannot understand why the hell you won’t remove skyhammer and spirit watch from solo queue with so many players hating them.

How do you not feel bad and manage to sleep at night with the horrible way you have been treating pvp?

Gah early morning rage

I made a post like this about a month ago, and just got unsuspended. I explained that in the real world, or at least in my firm, they would have been fired. There is nothing we can do about it. Good luck!

Hopefully calling the balance team blind and ignorant won’t be enough QQ-fuel for the moderators to delete the thread.

+1 As always, Vuh.

Vuh,

I think you are better off just making that thread on reddit.com/r/GuildWars2, then linking it here. That will accomplish 3 things:

1) It won’t get deleted there
2) You won’t get infracted/banned for posting it there
3) The developers are more likely to read it.
