Pretty much this, you nerf the ability to play a dps ele even further down and push us more into bunkers. Bunkers ele still will have RTL up when needed to run away since they won’t use it to stay alive inside the kitten small node, WTH is this crap. I wonder if they even fixed the air trait to reduce cooldowns to affect RTL because before it was still at 15 secs regardless of the trait.

I have been asking for these changes on the focus for quite a long time…very long time ^^, finally they have increased both duration of fire shield and size of flame wall while comet travel even faster than before, furthermore fire aura now give mroe than simply burning..sweet..so rejoice!
Those minor nerfs really do nothing to the viability of balanced eles, if anything now the bunker eles will be slighty less survivable, I really like the 10% dmg reduction added to frost aura rather then simply giving it a flar nerf and again the minor nerfs do nothing to the viability of the d/d ele, if before you used to spamm frost aura at recharge…now you’ll have to think twice when to use it.
Aaannddd! Thx got for FIX ON STATIC FIELD, people were simply walking in it without getting stunned ( no stability used ), hopefully next patch they’ll fix gust which is broken also

Double eles with cantrips will still reign supreme over PvP let they have been for the past months. Nothing about this patch has changed the status quo.

In exchange you now take less damage straight up from all sources save conditions with Frost Aura, and because of Aura-share can send that to friends to.
In other words, you’re now less damaged by burst if you play D/x eles in exchange for being about to chase/dash everything. Or in other words, D/X eles as a whole are less glass. Meaning only scepter eles are really left out.

The frost aura is from the off-hand D. How is only scepter eles left out?

The two following changes were not posted in the patch notes, but Soothing Disruption and Zephyr’s Boon have been nerfed and fixed respectively. Those two were pretty big at giving a lot of vigor, regen, swiftness and fury to bunker eles. Evasive Arcana’s water nerf only affects builds with a lot of healing power (bunkers). And Frost Aura’s defensive boost is general, much like how RTL’s nerf is too.
Yeah, bunker builds have lost some of their sustain. Was it enough? I’m not sure, but it’s clear they have been hit the most.
Meanwhile, yay focus love. Well, just a little. Fire focus is probably still underpowered – I think devs were way too tame with it, and I’m hoping for them to push it up even more in the next patch.
