This “bug”/“exploit” has been around since the beta, and is rarely talked about. Presumably because its hard to pull off and not a lot of people are aware of it.

In a summary, there’s a bug/exploit with the “Start Timer” of a tournament round where it is possible to start moving towards the enemy base (or nodes) just as the game starts, while the enemy is still in their base doing the “count down”.

What this results in is, around when the gates for both teams formally open… you are already at one of the nodes, and have started capping it. Meaning the enemy team now has to neutralize it, all the while you keep earning points.

This happened again two days ago, and this time on 2 nodes at the same time, we got a “You have lost Graveyard”, and “You have lost Quarry” about a second after the gates opened…

Then another 4 seconds later (as we just tried to exit the base)… “Your base is under attack”.

This now forces the non exploiting team in an awkward solution, we have to fall back and defend our base in the first 5 seconds of the game, while trying to take back 2 fully captured nodes, while we still don’t have our waterfall?? All in the first five seconds of the game??

This can be done on any map… I’ve also seen our treb destroyed just as our gates open. This exploit needs to be fixed, asap.
