I agree. Was quite a bit of fun. The last games were really intense.

I’m interested to see if anyone is willing to run something like this on a weekly basis.

I will try to (have to get used to the new options i will have tho)
But having something likes this on EU would be awesome!

There were some warriors. The problem is there was pretty much always a thief or a necro in the opposite team who kept applying poison on them. Also keep in mind they were not fighting on a point, so the longbow wasn’t so effective imo. Anyway pretty much all classes are op tbh, not just the war. They all spam things. Warrior is probably the most hated one only cos they can spam ccs really effectively.

Please Sensotix if you’re planning on setting this up use some rules like in Distubin’s 1v1 Arena. Just so you can manually tweak what should and should not be allowed in a 2v2 Deathmatch context.

The rules of todays’ went really well, I think. It was very fluid, quick, clean and tons of fun. The commentators did AMAZING.

Really fun games to watch! Love it when the community steps up to help bring the spotlight to pvp every now and then.

Honestly, I’m surprised at the rest of the community, I expected much more hate for winning with the Petting Zoo comp, but people seemed really happy for us, so it was a good feeling. I was proud of every single team in there, there wasn’t a single bad one. The Finals was intense, and honestly, I felt like it gave people what they needed to see in a final. 2-2 and it came down to 2 people on the ground at once, real nail biting stuff. Very fun.

@Ronpierce I don’t like petting zoo comps being so strong like this, but you played well and won with what you had at your disposal so I don’t see what there’s to hate about.

I would love to see something like this done on a regular basis. 2v2’s are amazing to play in and watch.

They still have to get rid of facerolls builds anyway it will make it more competitive . But ranger without his petting zoo is a pretty weak class that’s the problem .

The Results

Supreme Champion: Petting zoo – Ranger/Necro – Won 100gold each and 2000 gems.
Worthy Adversary: Disney Channel – Ranger/Thief – Won 50 gold each and 800 gems.
Maybe Next Time: The Rejects – Ranger/Warrior – Won 25 gold each.

Might see how hard will be to keep on-going tourney system for 2v2.

With the upcoming changes to ranger it will let the other ranger builds back into the game, now we just need to push for Spirit of Nature rework and we will see far better balance.

Yes of course I would set up some restrictions since I would really want to see active play and not too many pets fighting each other..also some elites will only be allowed in 1/3 rounds etc I will think of something
