I did a hotjoin game today to do my Thief Winner pvp daily. It was 2v2 and the game had just started, I joined red making it 3v2. Not surprisingly we dominated, and not long after a player on blue quit, Making it 3 v 1. The game autobalanced the teams and it was 2v2. We continued to dominate and were winning 400 to 50 and I when both members of the blue team decided to leave. I was then autobalanced to the blue team and it was 1 v 1.

When the game ended I did not get credit for the daily since I “lost”. Could we possibly change the system that if you are winning by say.. 300 points and get FORCED to join the opposing team in the last minute of the game because the ENTIRE enemy team rage quits because you crushed them so badly that perhaps you would get credit for the “winner” daily?

Even Arenanet would probably agree that if you join a game, then capture and hold every single base and win every single fight you should get credit for your team winning.

Solution: you should have taken the volunteer switch team option instead of waiting for the system to auto balance you.

This is correct. If you volunteer and get switched, it counts as a win for you no matter which team wins in the end. Needless to say, I always hit that button when it pops up.

It counts for the win regarding the amount of rank point you receive, but it does not count for the daily profession win.

Sorry my bad, just tested it, and it worked. (Maybe got fixed at the introduction?)
