Farm servers : exploit ? allowed ?
I’m not sure if they are allowed or not. You wouldn’t think so, but some of them have been there for a while. And if they were being removed, you’d think people would be a bit more reluctant to pay cash/gems to get their own server and then run the risk of having it removed.
I’m going to sound rude but the question shouldn’t even have to be asked.
This shouldn’t exist at all.
Can you show us , how many ppl are in there ?
Extent the pic a lttle to the right
Rank never meant anything as others have led you to believe
@ muscarine : I agree, I just want to be sure that dev aren’t like “oh well, it’s their arena, they can do whatever they want”
@Killthehealersffs : they were full, or almost full (like 18/20)
@RoRo : read my post again.
The function “report this arena for exploit” is really doing something ?
For example, I see the same farm server since Wednesday, it’s still there…
they pay money to farm/cheat. as long as someone pays money a company (especially anet) will not care if they do. period.
This only happens in EU… (this acc is from EU server) cause my main acc is from NA server and we don’t have farm servers in NA!!
Actually, the farm servers are a good thing, as weird as it may sound.
People only interested in ranking up and getting ahead on the reward tracks will go there. The reward tracks are limited for custom arenas and rank doesn’t really mean much.
I prefer designated farm servers very much to the possible alternative of having people from there move to “real” matches just to stand around.
The people that care about this stuff are the same as the people doing it, both groups are silly.
I can’t say that rank farming annoys me.
What really does are these guys which are clueless about the game and start venting chat with rage at the rest of the team backed up by how they’re dragon rank.
Whenever I see a dragon finisher it automatically comes to my mind one of these rank farm servers and I assume they have little skill.
they don’t just allow it, they encourage it, they increased the rank points that you earn in custom arenas so you get more than in hotjoins
Glory rank has been a joke since Anet allowed the original Skyhammer farmers to go unpunished. If you want to protest, just swap to exclusively using the bunny finisher. See how many “Dragons” get stomped by bunnies. Maybe some of these “fake pros” will start to understand that their dragon rank is meaningless.
Arena Net doesn’t ban these players, because many of them are veterans, and banning veterans means decrease in population which is already too low.
This is of course not fair, especially for people who worked hard to achieve dragon, and they have right to feel cheated, but well… it’s devs’ own decision that highest PvP rank in this game means nothing.

I think they’re more like new or bad player coming for easy loots and ranks….
It doesn’t really bother me, I just feel this is…. wrong. I sometimes have the urge to enter these servers and play “normally”, just for trolling purpose.
@Zirith : ……wait….. if you took time to comment this post, you too care about it…. So you’re silly as well ?
