The pvp community has been waiting 3 months already for a patch. When can we expect the new features? What about the class balance?

That would require a super feature patch, or an expansion for 60-70 euros…

It actually hurts to read that post.

Over a year and we essentially have the exact same sPvP features… dear lord.

Have you seen Jonathan Sharp in spvp lately? I’m not sure he even plays it anymore. The point he was trying to make about the iceberg was the glacial pacing improvements would come at. It’s our fault for not reading between the lines.

They gave up on PvP and they avoid the forum because it is quite negative.

Too fix sPvP they would have to devote more than 1% (my guess) of their development budget for it. Which is not going to happen unless Anet finds a way to better monetize (what a word) sPvP players.

Or another possibility is that they realize that the NA/EU ship has sailed so they are trying to strength the game for the market that has more potential.

In that case I hope their new ship sails even faster than the EU/NA ship.

As stated in the eurogamer interview; the LS patch starts the 4th of march. After that they will take a short break and release the feature patch.

So its up to us to guess what a short break actually means. Id say one or two cycles; to be released on the 1st of april or two weeks after that on the 15th.

Im really curious if we will recieve any info this week about the upcoming patch.

Id say the 1st would be ideal from a competetive standpoint since its right before the TESO release. But i dont know how ready they are with their patch.

Releasing it right after the release of another MMO is quite a bad idea IMO. People will be so engaged with their new game that its very likely that quite a few will skip this feature patch.

If i was in charge of the timing of this patch id say either right before TESO or at least 6 weeks after.

Except that china would be starting with all the benefits NA/EU got over 1.5 years+big feature patch on the first day, so unless there is something truly horrible with the overrall game aka it doesn’t sell that much, i wont bother hoping or holding your breath.
