Finally throwing in the towel
Far too many people overestimate their skill level in this game. That’s the number one source of frustration. They think they are better than what they actually are. Play hotjoins or unranked if you want to just have fun. If you want to be competitive then accept that part of a competitive environment is that people will be better than you.
I actually enjoy fighting people are better than me as it is a learning experience. Every time I get owned, I learn from something they did right or I did wrong.
There are games when I suck and we lose and I am good with those.
Its the games, which are the majority, which really dont matter if I am playing a great game or being a rez bot and the outcome will remain the same.
And this illustrates the kind of attitude that has been very destructive to PvP.
Paraphrasing, “you should accept being hammered because that is your place.” No viable sport works that way.
A far more productive response would be the one taken with me: “Come duel with me, I’ll teach you to survive if you can deal with taking some lumps.”
I once faced a Master rated Chess player in a tournament. I am no where near that rating and most likely never will be. He stopped the clock mid-game, made me take a move back (totally against the rules… but he was being generous) and sat and explained why it was wrong. I became a better player and remain grateful to him for the life lesson.
The “upper class” mocks the “lower class” at it’s peril. It is the “lower class” that supports the game.

Did you even read what he wrote?

Yes as a matter of fact I did. The real question is, did you?

Yes, he complained about PvP not being fun, because too many games were one-sided / poorly matched, both games where he is on the winning side that he “could probably be afk and still win”, as well as those on he is on the losing side.
Your reply had nothing to do with that.
