We wanted to do some tPvP with the few of us and were loosing against the flavor of the month builds so we decided to all get a necro and use the minion master build.

We just won every outmanned fight by just button mashing our staff + scepter skills while the minions absorbed all damage. It took a full party of 5 to take the two of us down, this is beyond ridiculous.

I never wanted to use these cheap builds as it didn’t feel right but considering how little effort is needed to gain glory like this? Well I will be using this build permanently till they nerf it from now on, it’s just to easy to pass on.

I main thief. My team needed home bunker, forced me to play MM that i have 0 exp on. We won all matches but 1. All i did was spamming 1 2 3 4 5, swap, 1 2 3 4 5. And it is not like we weren’t fighting good teams.

So kitten brainless.

So why not go full gimmick, makes sense. Forget your morale compass, its always pointing north anyhow.

yeah MMs are freaking ridiculous atm, the aoe cap needs to go atleast for pvp, we already know that pvp skills are separate from pve skills, so they could remove the aoe cap from pvp skills if they wanted to.

right now with the right specced MM you gain amazing survivability high sustained damage and tons of CC, and all you have to do is click 1 through 5 and resummon minions if they die…

The problem is that this crap is going to continue, PVP right now on this mode is ! punching bag/pinnata on the node and a dude trying to bash it until it drops dead to get the point, or die" because sorry im a bunker you arent suposed to kill bunkers unless we are at numerical disadvantage".

Pvp right now is stand still spam skills they cant cap, you win

Stop griefing yourself and just reroll. The only way to enjoy pvp at the minute is to pick whichever powerful meta build you hate the least and go with it.

Forget whichever weaponset you like the most, forget the traits you find interesting or the playstyle you enjoy and just go with what is powerful because the bottom line is that those builds are the only builds that are getting attention for the foreseeable future.

Let me tell you – you can waste your breathe making suggestions that go under-valued, you can stress yourself over trying to compete using a sub-par build vs the behemoth meta builds, you can destroy your love of the game with pride over not going with fotm and you can live in unfulfilled hope that the meta will shift soon. Or, you can just drop the pretense and start enjoying the pvp side of the game for what it has become; cheese vs cheese.

Minion necro is definitely up there, but just do yourself a favour and go with it.

as an engineer, i welcome MM builds. more MM necros please.
