today I go to pvp lobby and wanna try the tournament, so… there is 2 choice:

Paid: but, i must have 4 member party to start? can i do alone and found other people and play paid tournament…
kitten so i must try shout and type: LFP pvp Paid tournament?.
thats not E-Sport system ever !!!. ok i have guild, but how if my guild buddy dont interest with sPvP at that time?

Free: so I try free pvp, guess what… i must waiting more 30 minutes to start?. because waiting opponent? kitten #8230;
ok I can do another thing, while i waiting on my roster…
the big problem is here…. when game is ready, WHERE MY ROOSTER TEAM?
I just get start to play only with my one roster.
I go whisp my roster member, and get offline announcement….
i think he should be bored for waiting free spvp to start….
so I must fight against complete roster

so, i realy realy disapointed with tournament system….

or did I miss something?? because this my first time try tournament system…

The tournament system is a little weird right now. The devs are trying something new with paid tournaments, and it’s so popular that very few people are playing free tournaments this week.

My guess is that in another few weeks they’ll change the names of paid and free tournaments to something like “solo match” and “team match” and save tournaments for weekly/monthly events.

If that doesn’t happen, don’t worry, in 1 week when the paid tournament test is over, free tournaments will come in 1-3 minutes instead of 30.

Correct, last week and this week there’s a special paid tournament test going on. It means much fewer people are playing free tournaments, so that’s why it took a long time and someone on your roster quit.

I agree, the option to play a competitive game as a solo player is very important. As I said, I think they will probably add that very soon. If not, free tournaments will be back to normal in 1 week.

You didnt miss something. IF your on eu transfer to desolation, its much easier to find people there.
If na transfer to anvil rock.

this is the main reason for the TPvP team size shake up..
with the 8v8 many logoff in the time it takes to pop
the 2v2 pop very fast.. so full roster

because of the shake up everyones doing paids so the problem just transferred to frees for now

soon as 2v2 goes live properly you’ll be fine, also I took the advice of moving to desolation a lil while ago.. best move ever

Exactly what firebreathz said. The problem transferred from paids to free in fact. You need 8 parties, but as the 5 team members are usually random, there are big chances that one guy goes offline, one leaves the team, or even worse if the team leader disbands the group.

Only 1 group upon 8 having that problem will make the tournament not pop, and this generally happens in all groups when you have to wait more than 30mn.

They should have made free tournaments 1 on 1 as well, with losing team getting no reward and winning having 100 glory points .
