It is horrible what i see last days in PvP. That are only ranger maches, i saw maches where was 3 rangers agains 3 rangers. How is possible that one class have best auto atack dmg, best top dmg skill ( rapid fire ), best healing skills, immortality, invisibility, longest roots ( for melee class it same like stun) etc.
Can show some graph of representation of classes in PvP ?

Im with OP.. dem immortal rangers that shoot highest hitting AAs from afar! And when u get close, they pop invisible, the little rodents.

True; druid is invulnerable, but reapers and DHs have more dps than rangers atm

Hm First things rangers aren’t immortal… They have a signets that can make them take no damages for a few second and have 60 sec cd. But most classes have a way to tank damages for a few seconds.
And at the moment I find ranger actually weak compared to all the new classes… Druid is powerfull and I would understand you saying something about it but ranger is so easy to counter right now. Just a list of things that can counter it :
- Dardevil : Perma dodge, ranger can’t land a single hit.
- Chronomancer : Block, evade, block, evade….
- Reaper : quite tanky and lot’s of CC, putting the ranger in difficult situation because he can’t run.
- Dragonhunter : PERMA BLOCK and have way more damages atm…
- Scrapper : block and reflect a lot !
- Tempest : can accumulate so many earth armor that the ranger will basically kill himself trying to hit him.
- Warrior : maybe not the best against ranger but depending on the build he can also have acces to reflect.

I’m pretty sute, that OP meant Bird using Ranger as his pet.

I play power ranger as main since 2013, and i can say:

It has never been so easy to counter Power Ranger like now. HOT brought SO MANY projectiles reflects/blocks, and any decent ranger know we rely on getting our LB#3 and LB#4, oterwhise the LB is pretty useless weapon, and we need to swap it quickly.

I didnt buy HOT so i cant say about druid, but the LB ranger itself is so weak right now. Most professions can counter it very easy. Maybe warriors and necros can have hard times against a power ranger, but its not unfair or something.

Are you freaking kidding me? Power ranger is bottom-mid/low tier in the current meta. A VERY good ranger can pull it off. But theres a reason nearly every ranger in the current meta is actually druid.

Between Tempests and there aoe frost/magnetic aura. Reapers with there frost aura and dmg on chill. And dragonhunters with enough counterpressure to make you back off. Its pretty kitten hard to get a grip on a target as a power ranger without baiting out 10-15 seconds worth of cooldowns.

And thats not even mentioning chronomancers where since power ranger has 0 unblockable attacks we can’t force them out of there defensive wells. Making cutting there active defense uptime nearly impossible unless we time an EXTREMELY well timed CC.

Druid is good because staff doesn’t have to worry about projectile hate. And its defensive capabiltiies are a straight upgrade from GS. Combine that with its CC and sustain and it can hold its even. Even be kitten near unkillable 1v1 unless your running specific builds. But the BASE RANGER? Lol kitten no.

This is OP’s only post on the forums. Obvious troll is obvious.

And like Shadelang said, without Druid the Ranger profession is not even mid-tier in terms of viability. Without Druid it would probably be in as bad a place as Thief and Warrior supposedly are right now.

Now we’ve all acknowledged base Ranger isn’t in a good spot, let’s wait for Anet to do something about it. Oh but please don’t hold your breath, I fear for your safety.
