4v5s are way worse. I just lost the third time in ~9-12 games because of a 4v5.
yeah.. it is not working very well… I sometimes get teams they they don’t know what to do… I mean they run pass a unguarded enemy capture point and move on without even decaping it… not to mention that by the end of the game I have over 200 points and they are all under 60-80…
I do take he time to make a strategy based on our professions before the game starts and ask ppl to do simple tasks… they don’t even care… some even say that they are only there for the progression bar or to finish a daily achievement… they don’t even care if the team wins or loses as long as they get there “dodge” achievement or the “kills”, or “revives” whatever… and the PvP players are the ones how get penalized for this…

8 vs 8 hotjoin was removed.
not enough 5 vs 5 hotjoin servers.
so now please enjoy your solo arena games with more players.
this is all working as intended as you wanted this to happen.

To be honest, SoloQ is bad at the moment because Hotjoin has a daily cap on how much you can progress on the reward tracks. They need to remove that as soon as possible. Newbies don’t want to SoloQ yet but they feel forced to because they want to be rewarded which I don’t blame them for.
yesterday me and two guildes were teamed with an engi who didnt wear armor, twice.
we lost both times.
in case you dont have a full team you should only be matched against simmilar teams.
players who dont wear armor should be punished.
Today i played 8 Spvp matchs. 3 of them have 3GD on the other team.
3gd 3circles and u know the rest.
Matching system ruined ur hard work Anet.
No matter u reworked trait.
No matter u put new reward system.
All is watse when this happened.
Like u cook me Lobster and put it to the ground without dish.

Yes this is true I always see players just run past a point that’s unguarded. I try to tell people to focus on capturing points before the match starts but most don’t listen or don’t understand.
Maps in PvP here are very random and very difficult to navigate for new players and PvP itself isn’t intuitive. It takes time to realise just how little reward is given for activities that don’t involve capturing or bunkering points. Plus some maps like Skyhammer have unique and devastating mechanics that many don’t know about.
Basically you have lots of clueless (rightly so) new people pitted vs experienced people. PvP in this game is actually very simple to learn, but there has to be a tutorial.
