I quited for like a month or two.
Few days ago, I was back to check how the game is now.
I was :0
1: every nub have paid armors.
2:Ranks go up very easly, almost every nub is high rank.
3: 1 round tourny is 75% browser style.
What do I mean by browser style? They play like people do in browser.
I remember back in time, people planing strategies, nobody would be capturing a point that his mate is already capturing. Everyone would do his best to do what the plan was for him to do. You get the picture.

Now the things goes this way almost everytime….. All zerg home point, all zerg boss, all zerg keep. maybe 1 stays home.
lol…………… Peopel just capture and leave….. they think only about meaking points.
There are no words or time to explain on how nub this became.
Ladies and gentelmen 1 round tournaments are officially browser style dominated game

What’s the worst part…. NOBODY of my MATES from befor play anymore!!! they come online every 1,2 days… for play like 1,2 rounds… and log off.
Nobody uses anymore teamspeak….

What A.net do? They say… “We are working on it” lol….. Theyr words have not more inportance for me… then a words of a drunk that says is his last glass of wine.

8+ years old mmos are more fun to play on long term then this. There is plenty of things to do… but is just borring.
Pvp dhou…. for me is the same as if was at start. apart for few new maps xD and well “balance”
what else changed or got better?

The skill level I tournaments has dropped a bit, but you do get the odd game where your MMR kicks in and you get some decent team mates and opponents.

I’ve found that you have to take it upon yourself more now to try and carry your team and cover thier deficiencies. I made a bunker guardian for this very reason. Sure it’s boring as hell to just hold home point and no one comes to help even when you long your minimap a thousand times, but meh, whatever. If it nets the occasional win then I get a chest and some rank points.

I also get the odd whisper and invite to a decent group because they see how I play. If I get a mate to bunker mid point, then I’m back on the dps Mesmer wreckin dudes and carrying the rest of the team.

I just hate the million thieves getting around. But that’s a personal bias. I think I might roll Caeds build and just follow the herd.

I feel you man… i lost 9 games in a row now due to soloQ. Every game is me with high level pugs have no clue what they are doing..they are rank 30-50 but play like they have never done a tourney before. I have to stand by myself to defend/and cap points myself. which is impossible to do against a premade team. PLEASE! arenanet fix this! I LOVE spvp so much i really wish soloq worked like its suppose to, So i can play even if my team isn’t on.

Another point, what is the point even playing against Bunker eles/ hybrid eles… they are ukillable. No matter how hard to try…
1: They can heal up every 9 sec + hp skill
2: amaizing AOE damage+ all kind of knock downs and conditions + very mobille+ amaizing far and close range damage.

• + I never saw beffor the point I’m going to mention against eles.
  Is that they have 5 elements… practicly 5x more skills then us others have.
  lol healing skills, dps skills, conditions skills, knockdown skills, survive skills…
  Don’t forget about they have ton of avoid deamage skills.

Only full dps thiefs have a shot on them since they can do more DPS per second then the eles can survive. + If thief losses his chance to kill the Ele… Thief is dead….

if they removed glory gain for losing, none of this would still be happening.

the new join solo button gave the many that lurked in hotjoin because of not wanting to have to form long term teams (even 3-4 games) an easy way to access tourney’s for the first time, that coupled with shorter q’s because of 1 round there has been the mass exodus to tourneys

so that has diluted the play styles for now.. shouldn’t take too long for them to adapt to the tpvp play style

I see your hope point. But I think that this play stile’ll hardly change.
Why? Because is same mechanisem as in browser.. Join,play,finish whenever you want too. And 3 round tournament are rare this days.
And It’s been like 1 month or something since it was relised? If your theory would be right , I think that inprovements would be seen by now. Don’t you think?

Still tournaments are much mroe fun and good to play, compared to browser.
