Fix the heatseeking missile pets...
You can run but you can’t hide.
Please make Ranger pets do this heatseeking thing.

I wish my pets heartseeked.
Lol. Pets only attack an enemy if
A) you attacked the ranger/pet first
or
B) the ranger targeted you and told their pet to attack you
Stealth actually breaks the pet AI since the pet drops target and the ranger must manually tell its pet to keep attacking a thief or mesmer etc. slipping in and out of stealth. That also gives you the chance to get so many opening blows on the ranger since the pet won’t attack you until you hit the ranger while out of stealth.

No stealth doesn’t break it, pet will get right back on ya when stealth wears off. They are crucial.
My warrior would like a heartseeker Theif as a pet tho… ":p
I can heartseek you too.
Did you know if you apply a condition to the thief before it stealths, you will see the damage numbers pop up over his head? Even stealthed. not sure if a bug, but whew, this made killing thieves tonight so easy.
(no, he wasn’t using heal stealth, which I know cleanses bleeds).
Oh wow, 1 class makes it harder for you to run off when you screwed up. Man up and consider how most other classes fare when they screw up.
And if you need an explanation why pets can do it: animals can smell your fear and track you .)

Those must be some special Ranger pets there Irish, because my pets do not lock back on to targets that stealth.
Mesmer pets on the other hand follow you till the gates of hell, passing through walls, castle gates, locking back onto the poor doomed soul that tries to stealth away. They are some awesome relentless beasts, I like them a lot.

Ranger pets do it all the time. Especially if you’re downed and pop stealth. As soon as it wears off they come right back unless they were called to attack another target.

That would be the ranger telling it to attack you.
If you would like to do what the this topic is talking about this is how:
Attack a thief and tell your pet to attack. When he goes stealth to run away your pet will stop attacking him. But just spam F1 which is pet attack soon as he comes out of stealth no matter where on the map he is your pet will go find him. It’s pretty funny. Just make sure you don’t target or attack anyone else or the F1 won’t work on the thief.

Oh god, imagine it, heartseeker missile pets.
Oh wait iSwordsman, nevermind. =p
Except pSwordsman doesn’t deal high damage because you’re low on health. They do high damage because the Mesmer is a phantasm build built crit/power himself.
And if the clone is 1200+ away from the mesmer, it shatters.
Wish I could justify offhand sword in my build.
