Fixing the meta is harder than making SAB 2?

I dont think SAB was made by the living story team. SAB 1 was made by a separate team, and they probably worked on SAB 2 ~~since the end of SAB 1 (guessing). So, maybe comparing SAB with the development of pvp isnt really fair

PvP generally involves programming and a A LOT More testing for some definition of balance.
Look at skyhammer, people are complaining that it is not fair, but in PvE that wouldn’t have been an issue. So designers NOT programs can go all out, while they cant do that in PvP and WvW.
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.
WvW is getting a huge update too. The best thing we ever got was a re-design in hotm, but they took away when dragon bash ended. We can’t have nice things.

second, If im not mistaken, sab was a project made by a developer out of passion, that happen to get added to the game.

Ok can you please explain to me a tool than can easily create beautiful maps, mini game mechanics, new skins, and new boss mechanics for the living world that can not apply to spvp?
I know anet tell us to believe this, but is really that different the current SPVP to the PVE mechanics?
Come one are you telling me that for anet is easier to create the dragon ball mini game, the racing game from the pirates expansion (dont remember game), winter games, SAB 1, SAB 2 . . . etc; than fixing a obvious wrong meta and adding some good rewards?
I know they work hard but for real, you don’t need to be that smart to know 2 things:
1.- SPVP team is not well supported by anet to hire more people and make things really happen.
2.- PVE gives more money and they focus a lot more here.
Please if you come with the “is not that easy SPVP as PVE” . . . for the love god, tell us how is that.

Well, how long was SAB in development? 4, maybe 6 months? Too lazy to look it up.
What has it got? Nearly daily “balance patches” tons of new skins, six maps with complex, engine breaking stuff in them, an total overhaul of a few maps based on player feedback about a week after release.
How long is PvP in development? A year since launch+ the ages of development pre launch and beta.
What has PvP got?
Simple maps, 5 of which are good enough for tournaments, all using the same mechanic] I bet I could do untextured versions of each with a world editor with a button for "place node (max 3) in less then three days. Programming of second objectives included (most of it is taken from PvE/WvW and slightly adapted for pvp)
A terrible spectator mode.
An external website which spits out server data once an hour with a pretty look on it.
Two odd guys who have no idea what they are doing and overkill balancing stuff to more imbalance and who go on an vacation when their game is in the most dire need for them.

actual thats not the real truth.. sure some content is generated throught tools. but that does not exlude programmers, cause every livingstory content always gets new mechanics and even skins that are not purchasable throught pvp or other stuff.
so implement basics like ui and other stuff that is highly needed in pvp is doable trought tools.
if u look the living story part the number of ppl complaining to get forced playing and grinding every 2 weeks new content is growing.. so i think giving pve-players a pause and grab the complete team would be a good decision.
Good Idea! Leave them PvE ers the super adventure box, donĀ“t remove it. Instead add zone after zone when its done. 1. Everyone is CRYING to keep it. 2. It does not force so much “work” on you.
Heck, people would do SAB speed runs for the reckord time if it would stay
