Seriously, this is crap. Game client messes up and dc’s, boom, dishonor. Isn’t there a way to tell when the client is having issues and not cause a timeout?

Problem I’ve been having today is loading into the match itself. Game will stick on loadscreen, then force a dc.

Yeah I agree. GW2 is one of the few games that I have played. Where the difference in load between kitten and a HDD is so different. That you are basically gimping your self trying to even think about being competitive on a normal HDD.

My load times difference are huge say about sometimes up to 2 full minutes on my HDD. And around 10 to 30 seconds in worst cases on my SSD.

I was having the same problem to the point where my client would freeze my pc every time I would try to open it. Still need to get an SSD myself.

I ended up upgrading to windows 10, I was going to do a hard reset but you can still get win10 for free so I decided to upgrade, re-downloaded the client and it’s a lot faster now. I haven’t had a DC since I have done this, but takes around 3 seconds for the normal loading screen now. I imagine it’s close to instantaneous on an SSD.

I think the client sometimes gets bugged with patch after patch, worth a shot doing a re-install and possibly hard reset on your pc if you can.

That’s the weird bit. I have NEVER had these problems before over 2 years of playtime. Going to try a reinstall of the client. Thanks for the suggestions

I dont know what’s happening but as soon as I join à pvp/raid team , the game turns insane. Sometimes the PC too.
