Forum meta is getting stale. Of course, most people play forum warrior, which has always been the strongest spec since launch! But there are also so many of that cheesy forum ghost spec in every thread. Lol most of them stopped playing months ago…

Balance needs a re-design. QQ spam rewards way too much attention for the amount of skill it takes! Logic is hard-countered by insult spam.

I’ve become convinced this meta was promoted by Anet, because the devs hate paragraph breaks. They’re actively trying to drive away people who use them!

(Sorry I just wasted 20 seconds of your life. I mean no offense to anyone. Just trying to lighten the mood a little bit. At the end of the day, we’re all just sitting in front of computers manipulating pixels, for which right we paid the price of a tank of gas.)

Can the forum meta be improved or are we doomed to be as bad as every other game forum in existence?

I have no seen so much hate on a gaming forum, even WoW has cleaner forums and half the playerbase there are nothing but trolls.

I’m sorry but if most your forum is littered with people telling you what a crap job you’re doing, there is something wrong. It’s not merely a “let’s hop on the hate train because yolo!”

It’s painfully obvious since most the topics address the same exact things.

Top guild so far are the “We are The Vocal Minority[TROL]” who mostly play ranger, the troll and the most hated class so far.

Most forums are this bad. Also, the PvP forum is kind of unique: not only are there quite a few “forum ghosts” (common) but there are also now a ton of people posting in the PvP forum who don’t even play the PvP mode. That’s something I’m not sure I’ve seen before in a game forum.

Also, 90% of the posts in this forum are negative, but I could recite from memory ten names that would make up more than half of those posts. And I’m just a casual forum warrior lol.
