Fractal Reward Track
Nice idea but i think the pve guys would moan that there is no way for them to get glorious armour stuff but wer can get their high end pve skins though pvp

This exactly. PvP has glorious armors and balthazar backpiece, PvE has fractal weapons and lumi/carapace armors and WvW has Mistforged and Hero’s weapons. There needs to be some exclusivity in items to drive people to try other game modes.

If you want that happen the track should be flooded in insane RNG with increased rank points per track, and then also filled with 5 silver rings before you can even see a skin. Fractal is very special that even most hardcore fractal runners who did fractal over 2 years could not get the skin they wanted
source: reddit posts and forum posts and community driven drop rate research that shows fractal skin has 5% drop rate at max.

This more or less.
It’s a bit more skewed in favor of pve in terms of numbers but pve acquisition is for most players (some are blessed with good luck) a very tedious process.
its good to see that most of us agree that PVEers should keep their unique rewards, shame PVEers don’t share our mentality, you’ll see a request for our Tribal Armour every dam day in the general forums!

If you made it only available via a PvP reward track, PvE players would still be happy and would play PvP a lot more just to get it. P.S. Even current-day PvP players want the ability to get Tribal armor, since not everyone played PvP religiously way back when.
Anyway, to the OP: No, you should not get a fractal skin from PvP. Ever. If you want a fractal reward track, the only way I’d be okay with it is if the final reward were a pristine fractal relic and not a skin.
I’d like the creation of a fractal reward track in pvp which enables us to choose a fractal skin at the end of the track.
I’ve done more than a 100 fractals and i’ve always wanted to have a fractal greatsword skin so i was wondering if it could be possible to create an alternative way to obtain those skins.
Thank you.
Excellent idea. Too bad it is adressed to a company such as ANET though ….

Really with the kittened up balance we have now is hard to convince pvper to do pvp, what makes you think you would have better luck with pvers?.

PvE players tend to be more motivated by rewards than by good matches, which is what PvP players tend to favor.
For the people disagreeing with the OP, it doesn’t exactly have to be a fractal track. I’ve finished and repeated so many tracks now that it just bores me, and I only have around 700 hours. Imagine what the guys sitting on 2-3k feel about any kind of PvP reward.
I believe that fractal rewards should be exclusive to fractals… If they were to implement this idea they would have to introduce a quest for PVE players to get Glorious Armor and a Vendor for both PVE and PVP players to buy mistforged weapons with just Gold.

Speaking as a player, I feel it would be best if you quit playing GW2 for a while. Based on your posts recently, you have no interest or desire in playing the game, you have nothing to contribute to any discussion just bashing ANET and GW2 in general.
Nothing wrong with negativity but be constructive about it, and since you have not shown the ability to do so based on your last few posts, it may be best for you to take a break from the game and play something else till you are able to enjoy Guild Wars 2.

Keep fractals exclusive to fractals. Give pvp’ers exclusive rewards of their own, preferably skill-based rather than time-based.

First, I’d like to thank you for all your replies and they seem pretty fair.
Second, I’m not what you can call a hard gamer, i was just thinking of an alternative way to get those skins as I said on top. I thought it would be nice to have a concrete way to obtain those skins and not one based only on luck.

Ouch. Tell the truth about “ANET” and immediately get flamed. Ah well. Let’s see if any “moderator” deletes this message that insults me directly. I am guessing not though. And one more thing … that should be obvious to grown-up boys. You don’t get to tell me what to play or not. Or any other player for that matter. For the simple fact that the money I spent is mine. And not yours. I hope this settles it for you. Now, have a good day.
Let’s put it this way: i been doing lv 50 fractal every day for 1.5? year trying to get fractal dagger. Meanwhile i made 3 legendaries, got 9 precursors, tequatl ascended chest and what not, still no dagger from fractals.
Reward tracks are too easy. What could be possibly done is that if you finish reward track you get a chest. That chest has miniscule tiny chance to give random weapon fractal skin.

Why do you want to pull more PvE’ers into PvP?

There is a difference about telling the truth and just being a jerk. Going to multiple threads and trashing people because the game is not the way you want it to be, is an example of being a jerk.
No one is telling you are not entitled to your opinion, but I am telling you that you need to stay on topic and keep your posts in a way that can be beneficial. You can still be negative while delivering a constructive approach on how to improve this.
Based on your past posts, you do not appear to have any interest in keeping things constructive, you just wish to bash ANET and GW2.
Example of a constructive negative post:
I do not like the current reward tracks because ANET doesn’t understand what we want. I think they should add _ or __ maybe ____ as reward tracks.
_ Would be neat because ________
_ Would give us something to earn towards.
_ Would give a chance to earn some of the things that PvE players have easy access too.
Example of a non constructive negative post:
ANET doesn’t care about us, i’m deleting my characters.
See the difference? Now please stay on topic so this thread is able to stay productive.
