Free camera doesnt work in spectate

After the patch when I spectate a player the camera automatically resets behind the character even with free camera enabled. Was it always like this? Is there some setting I have wrong?

it was like this before the patch, but free cam did work a while back in spectator mode. no idea why its not doing so now.

Known issue! It’s a byproduct of the camera transition changes we did back in Feb.
