Last night around 3am est there was less than 100 people in spvp. Coudnt even get on a map I felt like playing. Kinda sad.
this should tell u something about this game pvp, bugs,op classes like Mesmer shatter exploit, infinite stealth thiefs, bunkers bunkers everywhere!!!!!!!!!!, Premade vs Pugs. Terrible just terrible

There are alot of people who dont want to go spvp, just so the people running bugged, untested, op specs, can instagib them.
PvP is pretty kittene in this game at the moment.
If your not running fotm bugged class, which has broken spec’s that give insane burst. Then there is no point being there.
Its just Thieves and Mesmers in spvp at the minute.
I’ve been off for months now and the same issues that caused me to leave seem to still be in the game. It’s ridiculous. Not only that, just simple reply posts to people keep getting removed for infractions. Like what the hell is the point of using the forums with mods like this. Might be done all together soon.

Except the pvp base is small so events and situations that draw from that group are going to have a strong effect.

like i said, if there arent 40 people doing tournies during primetime, there’s an issue with the game, not outside things going on. Hell you can still get 15v15 queues in rift for port scion battleground in ~5 mins at off hours and they arent even world wide

LoL what are you talking about, 2 million bought the game at initial release, probably a couple hundred thousand bought after the initial release, and yet cant even maintain a tournament system that takes a mere 8 teams of 5 people. This is dead bro, sad but true.
Slow changes to spvp, weird strange balances, and the biggest killer NO VARIETY IN THE GAME AT ALL. I mean what were the devs thinking launching with only 1 pvp mode? zzzz
Anyway the damage is done and most people have already moved on.
If you think just because its the holiday season that the game pvp population is low than…..wow you must not play the same game.

I’m so glad you mentioned it only has conquest…still! Not even a large majority enjoy conquest let alone having it shoved down their throats. Still no capture the flag? ….sad.
