Stop relying solely on twitch for your marketing campaigns.

As for randomly claim out of the blue hours from the twitch thing goes live many people will miss it, frankly because not everyone cares, is on and notified in time, and some just get too busy in the game they aint going to waste there time to stop playing GW2 just to watch some random Twitch video that you don’t know or not will be any good.

If your going to use twitch, at least AFTER its over with, replace your marketing advertising with a YOUTUBE video instead of leaving it as twitch and making people click on the link and nothing shows up and I’m sure there is probably some way to find an after video of it through twitch but frankly many of us don’t know how to do it and don’t even care to waste our times trying to figure it out.

So stop using Twitch to promote things, instead use YOUTUBE videos, YOUTUBE videos are always able to be watched.

This is part of the reason why GW2 isn’t that great in the marketing game of the esports, they simply rely too much on Twitch.

twitch live feed is terrible.

I didn’t realize Ready Up was for marketing, it completely seemed 100% geared for the current clientele.

I’m not sure I understand the complaint here. All of our Ready Up episodes are pushed to Youtube, usually the Wednesday after the live show.

I believe he was talking more generally.

For example, ToG finals can’t be watched on youtube, and if you click here and try to play the video, the Twitch player won’t start/won’t show exactly what you wanted to watch (because it only shows live performances and it hard to track down the video you want to watch).

A Youtube link video on the main website page would be useful, indeed.

yeah ANet you should really work on marketing, you have a really good game but to be honest you got one of the worst marketing.

just today i wanted to watch the TCG vs Boon final, i couldn’t find it on youtube or twitch highlight, the only way to see it is to go to twitch past recording and search it within the full 4 hours video.

Totally agree, i always want to see the new fresh changes . . . but i hate twitch . .

I would recommend to create a video with a resume of all the things on twitch . . .

Also . . improve the way you present the new stuff in twitch. . . make it more fun . . . most of the times are developers presenting the changes . . and . . . well i like them but they !@#$% talking xD.

I don’t like twitch too, youtube is just much more usable to me. Also, the viral factor on YouTube is just much higher. LoL has a lot of highly comical songs related to the game on YouTube, and it helps expand their user base.
