Gems Delivery
Without the smallest bit of fanboyism, the process of approving Gem rewards turns out to be extremely time consuming. So much so that to complete each request as it comes would drastically cut into meetings and project time.
Clearly it’s not ideal, and as players, all hope that it gets either delegated or automated in at least some small measure.
Fault the process not the Arenanet employees

My friend, the company’s community support is non-existent … what do you expect

The process is decided by the people that operate the company.
Solution:
Ingame tournaments with gem rewards. We actually had this at launch.
Also another issue to adress (incase grouch reads this) are the Eu thursday cups. There is only a prize if 8 teams show up. thats nearly never the case —> gives even less reason to show up on thursday. pls revert that change. (maybe let only people who didnt win go4 last week(like on na) participate so more low level teams join?)
and to op: i m waiting on 6,8 gems myself for over a months.

problem is there is no advertising of any tournaments (except big ones like wts), so many people dont even know theres a 2v2 cup
and since nobody streams that, how should people get informed about smaller cups?
but anet doenst care (surprise surprise)
