Do you take the moves that gives you maximum avoidance EVEN if they lose you control of the point (stealth, invincibility, etc.), or do you focus on taking only stunbreaks, blocks, etc. that allow you to keep control?

An example… as a Bunker Engineer, do you take Elixir S or Elixir R? You get a couple of dodges and a stunbreak with R and also keep the node, but with Elixir S, time in shrink mode are seconds ticking away that you don’t have control of the point.

So, do you go for maximum lifespan or maximum control of the point even if you die a bit sooner? I haven’t been able to decide which one is better lately, because extra time means extra time for your team to come over and help, but if you live forever and lose the node you’re not really doing your job as a bunker, either.

Thoughts?

Personally, I choose longer lifespan as a bunker engineer. UNLESS HOWEVER, my “job” is to assault far node and get it neutralized quickly. I’ll be uploading my personal bunker spec that I use in high tier tpvp within the next day or 2. Check me out at YouTube.com/VozTactics to see it!

For tPvP bunkering, the purest form of the role is to maximize point control by staying on it and keeping the enemy off of it.
