This is a great subreddit and needs more traction IMO. There’s lots of great players looking to play in teams but barely any consistent teams out there or resources like this in finding teams.

I don’t need a team, I ll solo queue my way to legebdary. ???? . Just a thought though, wouldn’t it be better for folks to recruit on the forum instead of reddit?

Is say that Reddit gets far more traction and exposure then these forums ever would and there’s no pvp specific forum, where as the subreddit can be pvp specific.

Whilst getting to legendary solo sounds nice and is definitely commendable, I don’t care for it as much as I would just getting to Ruby with a team. Playing with a team is much more fun then achieving a bit higher on a ladder for me, but I’m Aussie so finding a team in my timezone is borderline impossible.

There is one place. That Looking for forum is a pile trash of SPAM. Everybody and their mother bump PvX guild all dayz.

The sub reddit to find a spvp team, is great because it’s directly concern by it. So people can say what they need or offer and it’s easier for all to get a clear picture of what are the opening and how to make themselves known to the sPVP competitive community.

I Guess he want to say there is no pvp recruiting forum.

We see post into the pvp forum of people looking for more for sPvP. Those post are mostly ignore and goes down to the page 2 or more super fast.

The sub reddit, give you on the first page, the last need or offer for the month.

For my old team, I had 30 try out from reddit, 2 from pvp forum. I did ask Grouch (he never answer anything) about why the sticky post to the sub-reddit is deleted.

But the gw2 forums Looking for or PvP forum are not good to “recruit” spvp players.

Forum should actually be a knowledge base and a social medium, this particular forum feels kinda one sided.

Might feel one sided or whatever, but it’s player responsibility to turn it into what they want. As far as reddit is concerned, I tried to stay away from it, it’s utterly negative and opposing opinions do not get to be seen/heard/read.

Somewhat I agree.

It’s a list for team, guild and players looking to play competitively or league.

We can’t create sub-forum on gw2. So, the community like you said, is doing it on reddit.
