Getting burned in PvP need advice

Here’s a topic from the Guardian forums about how to counter Burn Guardians:
Thieves aren’t the focus of the thread, but there’s a lot of general advice in there that should be useful (what to dodge, how to pressure, etc.).
welp, if you see eles going into the fire-attunement, you should back off and let your team-members deal with that. In close range he’ll just keep re-applying burn constantly.
And guardians are a thiefs’ natural hardcounter anyways.
They usually will try to teleport right onto your with judges intervention, whirling their GS. If you see them comming, you have 2 options:
a) stealth and attack first with basilisk venom to burst them down as quickly as possible.
b) disengage and let your team-members handle it.
They’ll apply burning with every 5th hit (their passive effect from F1), so will either use their gs-whirl (dodge that under all circumstances), or will switch to scepter to immob+smite you.
A soon as you see them switching over to scepter, dodge and stealth right after. if it’s availabe cast basilisk venom and retaliate.
Most of their burning is on insta-casts or passive procs (except torch, which either passivley puts burning on you (the guardian will be covered in blue flames then), or casts a blue, flamy projectile that puts burning on you directly), so except avoiding their burst-setups and either disengaging or spiking them down, there is nothing much you can do.
Any elementalist/guardian/thief willing to let me know which skill/animation I need to dodge/interrupt will be greatly helpful against Guardians and Elementalist.
For Eles, what you should avoid without much trouble:
Running through the ring of fire on the ground
Avoid eating a Burning breath, it’s 2 second long casting
Not really easy to avoid:
Cleansing Fire (instant utility/trait that removes condition and applies Burning)
Burning on dodge roll when in fire attunement

The only thing that was changed about SE is that now it only removes damaging Conditions opposed to 1 random condi.
