Guild Wars 2

Hello!

This might seem as a noobish question, but I’m fairly new so it all makes sense!

When I play GW2 I mainly play sPvP, but I’m not quite sure where/how I should get my equipment.

I’m rank 16 at this point but neither chests nor combining stuff at the forge seems to get me something cooler than Krait, Svanir or those mechanic(?) weapons. I realise that I wont get those flaming swords, skull-plated shields, abyssal robes hammers of Yolo$wag, w/e.

Any tips?
Buy chests? (the ones for 200, 500 or 1000 tokens?)
Buy “pieces” in order to combine them at the forge? in that case, which pieces?
Component + arcane powder + xxx token + silver? crystal?

I hope someone can give a newbie some good tips!

That’s because from rank 10-19 you get deer(?) tokens which make those krait weapons and armor sets. If you want new armor you’d have to get rank 20 which will reward you dolyak tokens or do tournaments for tournament tokens.
