Surprise surprise! im not talking about sPvP (neither tPvP). Im talking about all these posts concerning “the future of pvp”, “im sick of this/that”, “when we’ll get this/that” guys stop please. First point, i know we all have customer rights to show how were angry at ANet for this silence (or for not giving an ETA, since i see plenty of answers) but this is getting ridiculous…all i can see is plenty of complaint about a game thats not perfect from the release (hmmm…name me one mmorpg that was perfect since release, cant really remember) and ZERO patience. Yes, zero. I want this, i want that, remove this, remove that…dont misunderstand me, i LOVE how the community explains plus and minuses of this game to the Devs, this is just good, a great backup that also shows em how much we care about the game, but this just passed the limit and instead of helpful, became just a whine spam board. Remember that just 4 months, almost 5, passed, anybody of you remember how other games were after 4 months? WoW pvp was better in such low time? LoL? Lineage? Aion? even GW1 was a total MESS after 4 months. Were they giving ETAs about when all the issues were solved? honestly, they werent. Can you all imagine they saying the fixes will come on (for example) January the 16th and the update comes on 18th? Poor forum on these mere 2 days xD. Second point, im also feeling bad about the current state of pvp which is limited, repetitive and unbalanced, but when im tired, i can also go to pve (one of the best ever brought to a mmorpg…i mean cmon, lag apart, u saw the events? were not talking about some chirstmas light in Stormwind and a tree, if u get what im talking about) and have fun with guildies…there are so many things to do and see, and if you are an hardcore gamer, all you have to do is be patient, afterall, these are the guys that made GW1 pvp, which was epic, just give em time and instead of complaining, be constructive talking or take a walk in the park, the whole sPvP REAL community will be thankful

Be patient guys, i know we all want this game to unlock his potential which is reeeeeeeeeally reeeeeeeeally high, but in 4 months, would be a miracle ^^

jk, in all seriousness though I’m glad that all this talk for pvp is happening no matter at what level or extremity because in all the other games I’ve played like this one that has had great potential for pvp the developers don’t give one iota and troll there own pvp playerbase (looking at you wow) and then it fails.

to me it shows that a lot of people like this game and want it to succeed really bad so they have a strong passion for it which in my book is ok, personally I want to see more threads that talk about the state of the game, it gives a good idea of what the devs should look for in making there player base happy. because its very easy to make a disconnect with the players if the devs are not hearing a vocal community.

No, I actually don’t see all that much “spam” posts, maybe because of moderators. Rather, the posts are are usually quite fair. If you want to see real spam and whining, go to WoW forums.

Sometimes there are posts that just poke fun at something but may seem like whine/spam posts.

We have been waiting for 6 months or longer if you include beta weekends for basic competitive features. sPvP is practically dead as it is, and is unplayable due to queue times and farming or money requirements.

Anet for some reason is unable to explain which features will be in what patches and instead just keeps copying and pasting the same promised feature list month after month.

Stop apologizing for Anet.

I assume they are making a good living developing the game and they just won 500 GOTY awards. They can handle some critical forum posts from people who bought the game for spvp with the expectation that spvp would include competitive features that we see in other games.

We’re asking for basic features that 99% of video games launch with. It’s been 4 months since the game launched.

It isn’t like we’re asking for the moon here. We just want some basic features.

u could not read the forums if it annoys u so much, its not like u created gw2 that u feel so touched or that u need to defend the ppl that created it.
