As someone who’s played since season 1 and seen it all, I ask people to please give the new league system a chance. It’s a fair system.

If you’re struggling right now, whether in the placement games or beyond, don’t quit. Things WILL settle. They already are for me. I lost badly the first 2 placement games by about 250 pts, I won the next 2, lost FOUR, then won the rest. Those who got higher placement are generally plummeting and those who got lower placement are rising. It’s the system doing its work.

Gotta give credit where it’s due. Way to go, devs.

change alot but for solo queing same story win few lose alot

I asked those 2 eles to reroll…ofc they ignored me, typical rewards hunters that don’t give a kitten about pvp , winning or losing..they get reward pts anyway even by going semi-afk with 2 pts made

So I decided to stop wasting my time in this game, stop arguing with trolls and whiteknights on this hopeless forum and just : “screw all of this…”

I have no words to describe GW2 as a game, but it’s not something I want to waste my time on anymore, 11 years with anet…not one year more ever again

Honesty I don’t know what people like you really expects for a Theme Park MMO? One that only cares to balance it’s classes despite how broken they are only every 3 to 4 months. It’s like insanity to expect quality PvP from such games like. That’s is all PvP is worth in GW2 achievement point farming and title farming if that’s your thing.

First and for most GW2 is a great MMO. Why? Because it’s different from all the other hardcore, skill based MMOs here, you don’t have to grind gear, you can just get 40 plus people how have no ideal on what to do, stack up and kill Huge World Bosses, and Smaller Experience groups/players in WvW. You can play GW2 and leave it for a year come back in still be at the top because of how causal it is, it doesn’t try to suck you dry like others do. However because of those facts. I haven’t really PvPed in GW2 since I’ve wised up Mid Season 3. I still enjoy GW2 for what it is, it’s just a shame their is little PvP support in this game despite ANet attempts to push eSports.

I gave ANet pops for making a game where I can vacation in aways for a few hours at a time from the hardcore white knuckle grind fest, skill based games. It’s nice to come into GW2 and leave your competitive mindset at the door for PvP here, like other MMOs as such. It’s save you the headache. Again great game ANet overall. I do need to gave ANet more credit then I have so, here it is give yourselves a pat on the back for a well done MMO. After I finish up here in this nail-biting game I’ll come hope on GW2 to mess about in unranked. Much love to ANet! <3

Well, I hit a bad spot tonight. I rode a 7-0 winning streak during the day and had a 2-6 losing streak late at night, then I won 2 more. Do I rage? Do I quit? No. Why? Less people play at night. Most likely, the matchmaking got me matched with lower MMR players so the queue doesn’t take hours. Why do I say this? I hit a SIX minute queue around 2am, I also played repeated with the same people at times. Compare that to the day time where I queued in just a few seconds.

Let me just say this. I HATED the previous league system. It was a skill-less grind. As a warrior main during season 1, 2 and 3 I bombarded it on these forums DAILY. It was made to attract new players, but it ended up alienating both new and old. It just did not work.

Let’s give ANet some credit here.

The class stacking is annoying but not as annoying as players who dont know basic gameplay.

What I dont understand from your picture is why you asked the two eles to reroll. Presumably you mean you asked one of them to reroll and then rerolled yourself regardless?

well looks like an easy match for the eles ^^. I would just smile and send 3 ele mid letting the other rotate. When the DH´s try to force mid it´s GG. Don´t start game. Try to make a strategy … I know it´s not easy, some won´t listen …

and yes this MM is a sample of being bad. Should be 2:2 on each side for DH and one ele o nthe other …. Eavening out classes on each side should be considdered …

Given it a chance… and getting diminishing returns. People can play 10 matches and rack up 2000 points… whereas others only get 10 points per win, 13 if they’re on a 5 game streak.

Don’t forget that players can lose tiers and divisions. That free ride comes with a price!

Yeah… they get 200 for a win though, I get 13… and lose 17 on a loss. They don’t even have to play more than a couple of games to stay where they are. I’ll have to play several hundred to approach half of where they are at 10 games.

This would be a real problem. This would mean the first 10 matches decide who has a chance to get into top ranks in a resonable time. And those 10 matches are higly random …

You do realize they also lose ca. 200 pts per loss~
