Who’s idea was it to even create Temple of Silent Storm? Its a horrible map that promotes the current meta even more.

No matter how good you are, teams that are running Warrior/Ranger/Engineer are gimped on this map due to lack of blinks. Temple of Silent Storm is a huge map with multiple levels, thus it promotes classes with blink.

One may argue that using a thief with shadowtrap on home point is better then mesmer in this map due to the fact portal doesnt last long enough for mesmer to be of any use with the distance cover needed.

Current meta is at least 2 Eles. Most meta teams run 1 Guardain 2 Eles 1 Mesmer 1 Thief.
Instead of fixing the current meta, which is quite horrible in my opinion, they promote the use of this meta by shoving this horrible map down our throat.

Who created Temple of Silent Storm should be fired. Its a waste of resources of Arenanet and even the Clients. You would be better off porting GW1 Maps without even a graphic update then using a map that promotes Eles and Thieves due to blink.

While I agree that 1V1 Tourney is better, the map is not.

Random map 1v1 = win. And disable character switching ofc.

Bit harsh there imo. The map definetly needs tweaking ‘cus there’s an imbalance between sidepoints and such.

I do like the map and it’s overall design. It is true that it promotes the more mobile classes but they can balance around that a bit more. If they do that, change the design a little bit and such then it’s a very fun map. In my opinion atleast.

And yes if they plan on adding the 1vs1 structure they should disable character swapping which would spice things up anyway and give a random map.
