Make a giant globe in the middle of the hearts of the mists. This gigantic viewing globe would let players click on it and hotlink them to the recordings of old tournament matches. It could even allow arena-net to sticky popular live-stream hotlinks if they deem them worthy or other recordings that may be useful and helpful to newcomers “class guide tutorials, tutorials on rotations, ect..”. I mean seriously, this would make it very easy for players in-game to just walk up and click the globe and watch a live ESL match as they hotlinked to twitch.

Seems like a win win for everyone concerning hits, views and ability to expedite the GW2 pvp learning curve.

I really don’t see the point for the ESL stuff, but for in-game tutorials that actually show more about the class? Yes please, might help with the sudden surge of bad players.

Sounds difficult to do, but I would want something like this. Really miss the Gw1 observer mode (which anyone logged into Gw1 could see recent top pvp matches in GvG and HA…not 20 people or people on twitch). The only argument I can imagine against it here (besides “too much work”) is that they wouldn’t want to lose twitch views. But if you find a way to link in twitch views with a built in system, that is ideal.

If there was something like viewing ranked matches in progress like a certain moba does, that would be amazing. Watching players who know what they’re doing play is so helpful for new and old players alike.

The whole point is that it hotlinks you to twitch or youtube videos.
This would do nothing but assist in website hits.

Adding in a powerful in-game observe mode would be nice as well.
