Guild Wars 2

I am not sure if this is normal, but just now I joined a random 8v8 game, we were only 4 players, but I noticed that the 3 players were in the same guild. Two of em were on the red and one on the blue, the blue player just let them cap and recap the points to get Glory. Am I missing something or what is going on?

Some people will let the enemy team neutralize and cap the points for 20 points. The enemy will then let them recap it, and so on. It’s just a method of glory farming.

I would not recommend doing it, however.

Does it really matter at all in this game? Win.lose it doesn’t matter. All you get are different pixels you can’t see in PvP because your blue red outfit is covered up for the most part. There isn’t power gain. It ruins games when people aren’t playing correctly though. The only thing winning does is make you feel good. No progression at all.
