Glory score and team effectiveness
it’s hard to create a scoring system which could truly analyze a person’s effectiveness. And it’s used by players to get a sense of how long they’ve been playing, th thinking being that time and skill to have something of a positive correlation. However once you’re over rank 30 it doesn’t mean much, titles such as champion slayer are probs better indicators of skill, but again not great.
He’s talking about point distribution through the game’s scoring window (B), it heavily rewards roaming and heavily punishes bunkering. No one rely considers these points an indicator of anything anymore, it would be nice if the devs improved the window to show kills/deaths/damage done/damage taken/healing done/ect… But quality of life improvements like that are pretty low on the priority list at this point.
Considering points cap just as fast or slow with just one person…….idk, personal glory is just that, personal.
People often use this as “i’m better than you” type of thing. Honestly I never saw the point when me tapping an already downed opponent gave me just as much points as me completely downing him.

I tend to agree. I’m 66% the way to champ slayer after two days of tournaments. So even that title doesn’t say much. I only mention it because I had the displeasure of being told I was being ineffective due to my low score. But I was never sharing a circle and I tended to stay back on point to defend when needed. Hence, I have a ton of kills but low glory score per match. I’m still new to tournaments so I thought it best to ask to make sure I wasn’t being rubbish.
