“Go back to hotjoin if you don’t know rotations”
I got that quote from a random team member when I was doing some PvP.
I’d like to improve but I wasn’t able to find the answer on google etc…
Anyone who’s got some info for me to read / watch about these rotations?
Map was Skyhammer.
Well you could check the stickied thingies in this forum for some general idea. Or what the ESL tournaments on twitch to see for yourself how the ‘pros’ do it and find what you are doing wrong or need to improve on.
And as far as I know there are plenty guides on youtube. People doing class specific guides what to do in which situation on what map etc etc
Were you playing unranked or ranked? Because if it was unranked you can tell the guy to shove his rotations…

Unranked, yup
Anyone got a nice example of how rotations work, because watching random stuff doesn’t give me the information I need :P
I did watch a few ESL games, they talked about rotations but couldn’t see how they worked etc.
Don’t pay any attention to that kind of talk.
I will say.. that you should have plenty of unranked games under your belt before you go into tpvp if not for your teammates records safety at least your own.
You should get a real idea for what your role is in the team and plenty of familiarity of the maps.
But don’t take any negative comments to heart. Anything that’s a failure to be constructive you should ignore.
You won’t learn to rotate in hotjoins, you are doing the right thing with unranked but that guy was “right” but he was a little mean about it I suppose.

I won’t
Just wondered if there was a way to improve with that comment, as though I am playing casual / for fun. I do like to win
a quick suggestion from me…..try to even out the fights on node
just look where your teammates and your opponents are, move, dont down/stomp one guy with 3, dont run alone into outnumbered fights, count numbers and scout respawn (guess where your opponents will push), reinforce and never cap a node with more than 1 guy
There you go. The almighty Backpack explains some basic stuff about rotations. However, the best way to improve is to play unranked, and certainly not hotjoin. Ignore unpleasant comments and focus on getting better!
Awesome, already learned 2 things
